Some of the best beer in Nagoya (and Japan) can be found in these walls. If you're into beer, this is a must stop.The space is warm, welcoming and usually filled with jovial folks in the evening. The outside patio is a nice treating the weather permits. There's lots of beer styles to choose from. Some brewed in house and a few guest taps. Over the course of a few hours we had six and each one was delicious. The stouts especially stole my heart. The food is perfect for bar snacks, but I wouldn't recommend making a meal here. Bring some friends - or make new ones there - and enjoy.

Best beer place near nagoya station.

Good craft breweries aren't that easy to find in Japan. This is an exception. Interesting and well executed beer list. The food we tried was good also.

Y.Market is a really great place to go with a group of friends for some locally brewed (downstairs!) beer and some delicious food to go along with it. The staff are pretty friendly and take special requests for dietary needs as best they can.

The food is nice, but all craft beer have too much hop. For hop lovers, it might be their favorite place!?

Selection of IPA is amazing and great food to go with the brews. The environment was relaxing and fantastic staff throughout the night. I highly recommend the sausage set. It was definitely a nice place for hangouts and group gatherings.

Food and drinks are a bit pricey but their drinks selection is quite good.

They had 9 taps if I remember correctly. The beer menu was only in Japanese so I didn't know what style most of them were. A few were IPAs. What I ended up having was something that tasted like a doppelbock brewed with coffee. Perhaps it was a porter brewed with coffee. It was really good. The pizza I had was also very good.

Beer was nice. Good variety that they make themselves. Food is typical Japanese serving sizes. Advertised as Mexican but it's been adjusted to fit the Japanese palate.

Great place for any beer lovers , quality beer produced on site

Service is fast and super nice. You'll feel welcome and at home, even when most of the staff don't speak English. There's a good selection of beers on tap; of course, they're a bit more expensive than "the nationals", but, the ones I tried were pretty good. There's a terrace for smokers, and it seems like one of the best places in the area to go drink at night. (Note: I didn't try the food because it didn't look good in the menu, so I can't talk about the famous nachos...)

This is a really awesome brewpub in Nagoya. The food is pretty good and the beer is great. The staff is also really friendly and helpful. I recommendall of their high gravity beers.

Amazing beer. Small food portions. Their menu is semi english but the staff are nice and helpful. Please note that it is cash only. They do not accept cards. There is wifi available here through FreeSpot. You will need to take stairs up for first floor.

Pretty decent Japanese craft beer. Great rotisserie chicken and, when they have it, the Mexican style nabe (hot pot) is awesome. The only craft beer brewery in Nagoya, so its a suggested stop for beer fans.

Busy joint. Busy joint. It's loud. But worth getting out there. Hard to get them to give you a taste, but still workable. Food menu looked decent too.

The beer was freshly brewed and excellent. One of the beer, sumiyaki espresso mile ale, was superb and surprisingly good.

Good beers (great variety), some hops! Didn't have any food, but it smelled amazing and the menu was really interesting.

So so experience here. The beer is fine andI was able to get a nice red ale which is a bonus. I wasn’t going to dine here but needed up doing so. This was an error as the food is mediocre and not a lot of thought is out into the menu. You know how some places have way too many items on the menu which leads to lower quality and lack of focus? Y. Market Brewing has that issue. There is an outdoor balcony which is nice in nice weather. One too, they don’t take credit cards so make sure you have cash. Overall, this is a fine spot for a beer if you are in the area but I wouldn’t recommend making a special trip.

The vibes at this brewery was great. Their craft beer selection is so good. I really liked summer carnival IPA. Also, their Mexican food was delicious. Great combo with their craft tap beers. Highly recommended!!

Superlative. This place makes their own beer, and it's not like anything you get at the convenience store: it's "real" beer. They have a good variety of craft brews on tap, as well as bottles and some variety of mixed drinks available. The food is also quite good, and very unique. This is my go-to spot for a good night, and it's walking distance from Nagoya Station if you're not about the subway. Go. Go! You'll like it :)

Great beer brewed on the first floor of the restaurant. Interesting Mexican-Japanese fusion food you’re unlikely to find elsewhere.Tends to be a bit busy on weekends and evenings due to it being popular...I recommend making a reservation before you go

Super cool place, with exceptional beer. We didn't eat here, so I cant comment on the food, but the choice of beer was excellent. Highly recommend for beer drinkers

The busiest brewpub in Nagoya. Around 10 American style craft beers on tap. My favorite place for beer party.

Quite simply some of the best craft beer I’ve had in Japan. Their Belgian Ale and NEIPA would run neck and neck with American counterparts. The kitchen gives a smattering of unique dishes. I liked the spices on their chicken wings.

Beer was excellent.Salad was inedible.They made us move tables after seating us.We were asked 4 times to leave before closing time.They did not accept credit card for 9000yen bill.

Y market Brewing's beer is very, very good- nice range, reasonable price. The beer is brewed on site which is awesome. The food is fair but not good enough to be a draw in itself to the bar.The bar does not accept credit cards, and this isn't advertised at all barring a small sign below the cash register. This is almost enough to knock off a star but the experience overall was very good and I'll certainly visit again when next in town

Great beers, nice location. The IPA styles are amazing. The service is generally good, however staff turnover is fast, so don't bother learning names, as they won't be there next time. Food is good, but better at the Gifu branch (called Yell-Ale). Closes early, so don't bother turning up after 9.30pm, as staff will hassle you to leave at about 10pm. They have a really annoying habit of dipping the glass in water before pouring the pint. I'm really hoping that water is clean... But yes great beers. Ding them one star for prices plus tax as listed prices in Japan should include tax, also terrible choice in music (who the hell plays live albums in a restaurant?), also as usual in Japan short measures however if you tell them they usually get it right next time. No credit cards should get get another ding, but the beers are good...

I was a bit drink by the time we made it here. I didn't really have a chance to order food or look at the menu. I remember the beer being a touch pricey, but it's not the most expensive brew pub in the area. I am eager to go back next time I'm in the city.

They have nice beer here. And I like to support local places. But this place needs to train their staff. The server was picking up the dirty glassware from inside, getting bacteria all over his hands and then wrapping food in the kitchen and putting away plates. I used to go here a lot but will never return, especially since they did not address my concern after messaging them.

Beer is solid, food is decent. These guys clearly know how to make beer as they have a wide variety of styles, some of which were very impressive creation (try the coffee beer). I'd highly recommend making a stop in here, close to Train station as well, making it a quick in/out

The beer was ok. Definitely better than standard Japanese macro brews, but no where near the level of US craft beer. Overpriced (700 yen for 330 ml/12oz or 1000 for a pint). Food was good and very reasonably priced. To call this a Mexican restaurant is a stretch. At best it's a Japanese take on Mexican American fusion.
